Torna il Supermono Day! Sabato 27 marzo, presso l’autodromo di Modena, andrà in scena la seconda edizione ufficiale della giornata dedicata alle moto sportive monocilindriche.
Sarà un’occasione speciale per gli appassionati, per tornare a vivere le emozioni che hanno regalato al mondo motociclistico a partire dagli anni '90. Quando si parla di Supermono, si fa riferimento a moto sportive, monocilindriche 4 tempi di realizzazione artigianale. La massima espressione della meccanica e dell' ingegno dei preparatori e dei telaisti italiani.
Nate come fenomeno di nicchia durante l’ultimo decennio del secolo scorso, le Supermono hanno acquisito sempre più importanza sia a livello nazionale che internazionale grazie anche a campionati e gare interamente dedicate. Poi l'avvento delle case ufficiali che portarono la competizione in pista all’esasperazione, allontanarono queste moto dalla loro filosofia: quella di essere divertenti moto da corsa realizzate a costi contenuti. Ciò nonostante la passione è sopravvissuta e durante il nuovo millennio si sono avvicinati a questa tipologia di moto una crescente nicchia di nuovi appassionati, che sono tornati alle origini delle supermono: l’artigianalità di meccanici (spesso anche piloti dei propri mezzi) appassionati della tecnica e della telaistica.
Così questa giornata ha l' obbiettivo di ridare valore e spazio a questo fenomeno motociclistico,amore di centinaia di appassionati sparsi per tutta Europa.
Un’edizione che si propone di convogliare in pista i possessori di questi mezzi, con un occhio al passato e l'altro al futuro.
Nella giornata di sabato 27 marzo saranno organizzati turni di prove libere nei quali potranno scendere in pista i possessori di Supermono. Ma non solo, saranno presenti anche mezzi storici in sola esposizione, verranno invitati all' evento molti dei protagonisti dei campionati degli anni '90 ad esporre i propri gioielli e rivivere quelle storie di paddock e di pista che li hanno visti protagonisti.
L'obiettivo è realizzare anche una mostra fotografica e documentale, che diverrà poi un file, memoria storica della categoria.
Tutti poi in pista per una parata, così da rientrare nel video ufficiale scaricabile da tutti i partecipanti.
La giornata è stata pianificata il giorno antecedente alla prima gara che si correrà in Italia nel 2021 alla quale saranno ammesse le Supermono. Chi vorrà, avrà quindi l’opportunità di portare la propria moto in gara e tornare a vivere l'emozione di una notte nel paddock.
Saranno organizzate anche attività collaterali compatibilmente con le misure di sicurezza e le restrizioni imposte dalla situazione Covid-19.
Per garantire la migliore organizzazione dell' evento, l'iscrizione dovrà avvenire entro e non oltre il 10 marzo.
Saranno presenti anche servizio gomme e partner tecnici dei trofei MP Exhaust Motoestate.
I rimanenti turni in pista saranno dedicati alle prove libere dedicate a tutte le moto, sia per amatori che per licenziati, con suddivisione in gruppi (in base ai tempi dichiarati). Questa sarà l’opportunità di conciliare la massima sicurezza dei partecipanti e assicurare il massimo divertimento. Sarà anche possibile visionare i tempi live e ritirare il foglio dei tempi dopo ogni sessione.

ENGLISH VERSION
The second edition of the Supermono day will be held on Saturday March 27th at Autodromo di Modena.
For all the motorbike lovers spread all over Europe it will be a special day: we all will have the opportunity to re-live a track-day focused on the famous hand-crafted -single-cylinder-engine motorbikes which used to shine bright during the 90s. Indeed, the so-called Supermono went through a brief, though, very important development. In fact, they started their journey into the motorbike world as a way, for passionate mechanics (often motorbike riders themselves), to show and spread their love towards the hand-made mechanic, motorbikes and the process of ‘do it yourself’. Then, the development reached a very important peak as they got to be formalized into national and international championships.
On the other hand, though, its lifecycle was not as long as they hoped for. The interest in the Supermono was this huge, that official and internationally-recognized motorbike producers started to produce their own Supermono whereby, basically, making the Supermono phenomenon come to an end. Nevertheless, the truest and very first Supermono aim never ended, nor changed. Indeed, the thousands of motorbike lovers spread all over Europe have been working on their hand-crafted “creatures” ever since.
This is essentially our goal too: providing an opportunity and the perfect stage for all the passionate mechanics to come over and both ride and show, as well as, share, their creatures, their love.
Therefore, on the 27th of March, there will be sessions of free practice dedicated to those who own a Supermono and want to get down on track. In addition, there will be an exhibition of the famous motorbikes which used to fight on track during the 90s. Moreover, the famous riders themselves will be present at the event to re-live that well known atmosphere. The goal is also to collect all the pictures as well as photos and official documents to try to re-create an online exhibition of the Supermono history.
Then, everybody will be going down the track for the official parade while getting recorded on the official video, which will be handed out to all the participants.
This edition has been scheduled on the day before the official comeback of moto races in Italy, to provide the opportunity for everybody who would like to, to bring their motorcycles back on the Modena Green Circuit… and re-living the experience of a night out in the paddock.
Moreover, there will be additional activities while always respecting social distancing and all the rules imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Please note, that reservations must be made by March 10th.
Furthermore, there will also be the usual wheel service and the stands of some other technical Motoestate partners.
To conclude, the remaining rounds will be dedicated to free practices for all the other motorcycles divided in two groups: professionals and amateurs. For them, the time keeping service will be provided. In this way, they will withdraw the timing sheets after every session.
